Def: 1- characteristic, of or appropriate to ordinary of familiar conversation rather conversation rather than formal speech or writing; informal.
2- involving or using conversation

Synonyms: chatty, common, conversational, popular

Antonyms: correct, formal, standard

Used: It was sometimes hard to keep track of the conversation because of how colloquial the group was.
